The CID Group is organized by Area of Study. The primary Areas of Study at CDL are: Business, Management & Economics (BME), Humanities (HUM), Nursing (NUR), Science, Math and Technology (SMAT), and Social Sciences (SOC). In addition, the School of Graduate Studies (GRAD) relies on CID support and personnel in course development; and several CIDs are assigned to work across the disciplines rather than within one area alone.
The organization of the CID Group is as follows (click on each name for more info):
Director of Online Curriculum: Ellen Marie Murphy
Program Aide: Darlene Dow
Administrative Support Staff: Darlene Gaudio & MaryJane Baird
Area of Study Coordinating Level Curriculum & Instructional Designers:
BME: Ken Charuk
HUM: Hui-Ya (Laura) Chuang
NUR: Jennifer Boisvert
SMAT: Kathleen Stone
SOC: Bob Kester
GRAD: Lisa Snyder
Interdisciplinary CIDs: Sonja Thomson & Katarina Pisutova
Curriculum Design Specialists: Betsy Braun & Claire Miller
Curriculum Maintenance Specialist: Hollie Miller
Curriculum Technology Specialist: Lisa Rapple
CIDs handle course design, curriculum development and revision for courses in each area by working directly with the faculty and AOS staff. If you have an issue related to course design or curriculum development, the first point of contact should be the CID for the AOS.
Routine issues should be directed to the CID Group’s Administrative support team: Darlene Dow, Darlene Gaudio, or MaryJane Baird. Any technical LMS issues that affect course integrity should be directed to the Curriculum Maintenance Specialist, Hollie Miller. Concerns that cannot be addressed by the Coordinating level CID must be brought to the Director of Online Curriculum, Ellen Marie Murphy.
