I’m Suzanne Hayes, Director of Academic Technologies (AT) at Empire State College, State University of New York. I lead the AT team, a talented group of professionals who have a broad range of information technology skills and expertise — that includes instructional design, library and information science, web design and programming. Our mission is to support teaching, learning and research at the college through:

•  Instructional Design Support: Each of the seven New York regional centers have an on-site faculty instructional technologist who can assist faculty in developing and implementing technology-based learning activities and resources into learning contracts and study groups.
• Learning Environment Development: This team specializes in the development of scalable and replicable technology-mediated learning environments.
• Library Services: Empire State College has the distinction of being the only completely online library in SUNY system and is accessible to students, faculty and staff any time and anywhere.
